I am doing my best to conduct timely and practical research that meets the voices, problems, and needs of victims and survivors of family violence throughout having an equal and collaborative relationship with victims and survivors. I believe it is essential for researchers to maintain a high vision and build up their research step by step toward realizing an ideal society. I want to work with other researchers not only in Japan but also in the world who can share high visions and passion for each other and conduct highly impacted research that will be directly useful for victims and survivors of violence in society and the world.

Nursing requires a multifaceted view of people who cannot necessarily sue on their own (children) and of systems that cause complex phenomena (families), and I am researching how to view these from multiple perspectives, mainly using statistical methods. I hope that my work as a nurse in a pediatric ward, my research in the field of pediatric oncology and brain tumors, and my personal experience in childcare and caregiving will all be utilized in my research, education, and social activities.
